Focus plays a greater part in writing than most people realize. An author needs to focus on the project to turn it into a finished book. It is hard when life throws overtime, baseball games, car problems and a million other things at you to keep your focus divided. Keeping your focus is not easy but it really helps when your writing. Focus really applies to anything that you want to get better at. Be it tae kwon do, knitting or riding. Keeping your eyes on the goal and never giving up. John Maxwell said,
Sometimes to keep your focus sharp extra baggage needs to be dropped for a time. Find out what you really want to do and hold onto that.
